Another Chain Essay

That's right. Some of us guys wrote another, equally nonsensical essay for everyone to laugh at. So here it is!

Oh, we'll be doing themed essays from now on. It gives us a vague sense of direction instead of just writing crap. This one's based on movie parodies.

Once upon a time, there lived a boy in Thirteen Dumpling Street named Barry Trotter. He was on a journey to find his Prince Charming. He carried with him a strange ring with weird squiggly lines that appear when you heat it up. The ring was pierced to the most intimate part of his body (go figure) to prevent it from being stolen by Ocean's Thirteen(Yea! There's an Ocean's Thirteen now!). On the way, he met Nemo's father, Marlin, who was Finding Nemo. Then Robert Langdon came and said, "This must be some clue to the Holy Grail." Arthur Dent quickly fired his Point-of-View Gun at Langdon, making him clueless as ever. Bruce Almighty, covering for God, who's on holiday, looked down at Langdon and sighed at his weak mind for being easily influenced by the POV Gun. But Sauron, master of evil, forged in the Fires of Doom, and Master Ring: One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them! Men and Elves overcame their differences and worked together to defeat Sauron in a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Ninjas Kick Back! And Steve found his friend in Brokeback Mountain. Sleeping Beauty came barging in shouting, 'Where's my glass slipper?" Cindy(Cinderella) said, "Hey! B*tch! You got my slippers! My Prince Charming will make you regret this!" "Yeah I'm your Prince Charming!" yelled Barry Trotter, as he reclaimed his throne as the main character. Then 'Deep Impact' and 'Armageddon" happened together, and from the resulting two meteor impacts were left the little penguins from Madagascar.

"Just smile and wave, boys, smile and wave."

A Queer Story

Here's the first of many, unrelated, chain essays. What are they? Well, it's when a group of people decide to write something, mostly nonsensical, in a piece of paper, by taking turns writing either one word, or one sentence. Here's what some of us wrote this morning:

Once or not too short ago, many there was smelly repeat. However, lame as llama deplored and fool's females. Under siege, they cried and fondled female's b****** without taxes. Unfortunately, pregnancy occured and adoption of dogs never ad hoc. Suddenly, cats flying high fire-bombed the crap out. Musical chairs death by crucifixion enlightened. Then a pepper-blasting bulldog rushed through Ukraine, thus destroying mankind's Ukraine signpost with flatulence. Crap! Without Pn. Goh's boring, disgusting, delicious, dangerous, "crucial", herculean trash-talk, she sniffed dung.

Fortunately, there came Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, George W. Bush, excreting more and more oozes. Elephants befriended Noel, and umbrellas became high. Max* f***** Gordon* in Sid*'s bathroom. Teresians suck! Josephians RULEZ!

*Names changed to protect privacy*

Doesn't make sense, does it? Well it's not supposed to. David has another copy of a longer essay that makes even less sense than this.

Anyway, I'm glad to say that our class t-shirts will finally arrive, after about two months. We'll have it by Friday, since Fahri and crew will collect it tomorrow afternoon. Good job guys. Thanks to all brothers for their co-operation.

Reminders:
1)Maths 'homwok'
2)Chemistry reports. Experiments 3.1, 3.3, 3.5, and Activity 3.3. I'm not sure whether there are any more. Can anyone verify this? Pn. Voon apparently wants to check it tomorrow
3)Non-Muslims, study your Moral values. Mdm. Alice is back to grilling us with 'surprise' tests

The Few. The Proud. The Bald

Seems like there's some new form of hairdo: NS-style near-baldness. Whether this continues to affect everyone remains to be seen.

Nothing noteworthy today, besides another confusing Moral period.

Oh, and no Biology extra class tomorrow.

2)BM Essay, due Friday

"It's not a negative, it's a minus"

Another Thursday has come and gone. Mdm. Goh started off bearing today. Then Pn. Nuriya continued with the judiciary system in Malaysia. Then came Physics, and Ms. Mah confused us further with half-adders and half-subtractors and more gates. If anyone understood what she said FULLY, my hat's off to him.

Then came Moral. We're all still puzzled at the synonymous answers we keep giving teacher, and other dubious matters such as the difference between a 'minus' and a 'negative'. We wrapped up with Chemistry, with an experiment.

Not to forget,

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY DAVID!!

Only six months' worth of birthdays left, and the year seems to go by so quickly.

Reminders:
1)Chemistry reports, including Experiments 3.3 and 3.5.
2)Maths 'homwok' on bearing. 8.1c and 8.1d(only question 1 for both)
3)Guys, please pay up for your t-shirt. Deposits and remainder payment are two different things, and I doubt the tailor would tolerate a long collection period.

We Are The Champions...

Oh, yeah. To sum it up, 5A beat all the other Form 5's hands down in last Saturday's Tug-of-War. Not only that, but Patrick House laid the smackdown on all other 7 houses. Now, who are the champions! As Joel would put it in his short speech this morning...

"We came, we saw, we conquered!!!"

Anyway, there wasn't an EST extra class, and it doesn't look like we're having any until July.

Also, today's Hafiz's birthday...

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY HAFIZ!!

It is a great day today.

Reminders:
1)Guys, we need to pay up for our class t-shirts by Friday, or I think we won't get them at all. To quote Fahri,
"Round Neck: RM17; RM25 for sizes XXXL and XXXXL.
Collar: RM19; RM27 for the dudes who asked for XXXL."
2)Chemistry reports
3)MT homework
4)Maths kebarangkalian 'homwok'

Glory!

Reliable reports tell me that our class totally pwned the other Form 5 classes in this morning's Tug-of-War! But, the glory is not so much on our class as it is for those who actually strived to achieve this glory for us:
Joel Than
Mohd. Syazwan
Isaac Lawai(replacing Ian)
Marcus Yu
Gerald Sim

These 5 men, handpicked by Agan and us, had the most mass, the most muscles, and the most spirit. Kudos to them, because overall, Patrick House pwned the other 7 houses as well.

As our class motto implies, "To the greater glory of the Brotherhood!!"

Oh, and it's the twins' birthdays today...

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY AFIQ(road dog:))!!
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY HAZIQ!!

Reminders:
1)Chemistry reports.
2)Maths 'homwok'
3)Add Maths homework on Trigonometry

Tug-of-War

Good luck to the five heroes representing our class tomorrow in the Interclass Tug-of-War. Handpicked by Agan, of course with our consent, they are:
Gerald Sim,
Ian Everlyneur,
Marcus Yu,
Mohd. Syazwan, and....
Joel Than!

Alright, as Agan said, they have the mass, the muscles, and of course, the spirit! And we've got lots of the latter. With luck, we'll easily trounce the other classes tomorrow morning!

Class T-Shirts (Update)

Okaay..Guys, Fahri here. I'm happy to announce that we're one step closer to receiving our class t-shirts. Zacky, Aziz and I went to the store today to pay the deposit. Luckily, despite the one-month gap, they didn't throw away the design. I was there for an hour to discuss the matter with the lady. So, here are some things that you need to take note of..
  1. Some of us need to pay more for their shirt..those "prosperous" ones, to be specific. Shirts with more than 2 "Xs" will have to pay an extra...*cough*...8 ringgit. (Detailed price list at the end of the post.)
  2. Well, anyway..the design was another issue. The lady said that putting in too much color would result in "hard" and "sticky" shirts. Ivan wasn't there to make the decisions, so, I decided to omit the color (red) inside the design. That means we're only going to have outlines on our shirts. Yes..Yellowish-orange lines that look like flames going against a black background ...I just hope they can get it right..
  3. Another thing is the font. We're gonna use "Bonzai". I know, it looks kinda ordinary, but it was the best one they had. I had no choice.
  4. Last but definitely not least, we're gonna get the shirt in exactly two weeks time. Unfortunately, the short period of time leaves us with no room for tolerance. If I give you two weeks to pay up, that means two weeks. No more extensions or whatsoever. Got it? Don't mean to be rude..but yeah..can't help it...
Mm..I guess that's all from me. Those who want answers can approach me anytime during school. A'ight? Oh, right..before I forget..

Round Neck: RM17; RM25 for sizes XXXL and XXXXL.
Collar: RM19; RM27 for the dudes who asked for XXXL.

Have a nice day!

Sonnet 18

Some notable things today are as follows:
1)Mr. Bong discussing Sonnet 18 with us. I still think it's a homosexual poem, as this quote from Wikipedia will attest: "whoever is being described has beauty that will last forever unlike that of a summer's day. By putting the man's beauty into sonnet he is preserving this beauty as it lasts forever on page." Take note of "the man's beauty" in the context, which further illustrates the point that Sonnet 18 is a homosexual poem.

2)Apparently, all future soccer games will be played in the field, but some disadvantages(takes awhile for the action to heat up) might make us reconsider going back to playing on concrete.

Reminders:
1)Chemistry holiday homework due on FRIDAY
2)Physics, diagrams to be drawn in the long book.
3)Maths 'homwok'; Latihan 7.3c(1-4); Latihan 7.3d(1-5)
4)Pn. Kang's bugging us for our Joggerthon cards.
5)I think it'd be a good idea to start paying the other half of our t-shirt, so that when it does come, we'll get it straightaway.

Oh, and not forgetting...

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY JIA WERN!!

I probably should've used this title yesterday, but anyway.

Reminders:
1)Chemistry homework all due by Friday. Then there's this mindmap we're supposed to do on Chapter 2 that's due on Friday too.

back to school

Well,it seems time really pass so fast.Like people said ,time and tide waits for no man.School will be reopen on Monday and I hope all of you finished all your homework which was given by some of our teachers.I know many of you were not satisfied during this 2 weeks holidays because of Madam Voon's chapter 5 assignment(took us like 4-5 days to finish...).I also hoped everyone did study a little bit during this holidays as our 2nd exam is just around the corner(full paper somemore).Like Miss Mah said "you people ha must work hard during holiday hoh.Give yourself a 1 day rest and then ha must study.Your physic paper will be in full paper ho...and I hope I can finish the syllabus(is the spelling correct?)...by end of July ho".Hmmmm.....the mother of 5A.

There are some questions cannot be done in Madam Goh's maths paper.Eg,cari luas kawasan berlorek and there's no kawasan berlorek in the rajah. How to do???Ayo....Ahahah...

Since this year is filled with lots of entertainment, hopefully all of us will not get too obsessed with it(especially World Cup).I myself can't even resist and tempted with World Cup(especially England's matches)...and Malaysian Open will be held in KUCHING.Aduh....got AF4 somemore....Ayo...Ok..that's all.

REMINDERS
1)Hopefully all of you finished your chemistry assignment and the chapter 2 "fill in
the blanks" homework.
2)Maths paper.Besides that,the kebarangkalian exercises(if you haven't finish)
3)Add maths (if you haven't finish your vektor)

FIFA World Cup Germany

I bet y'all know what today is, or rather, tonight is. The 2006 FIFA World Cup starts tonight!! Germany vs. Costa Rica.

Anyway, I hope you guys are done with your homework(I certainly haven't), or at least did the better part of it.

Meanwhile, check this site out.

Chemistry that Voon'll never teach us

Last week

I hope you've done a little of your holiday assignments, Chemistry, and Maths, you know. We've only one week left to actually start cramming 'fore SPM.

I hope you all enjoyed Gawai, and watched plenty of movies. Yeah. Personally, I want to watch Cars, perhaps this Friday.

Oh, it's Richard's birthday today, so...

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY RICHARD!!

Saturday, June 03, 2006

OH NO!!!!!!!

I read Shaun's post dated 26 May 2006-the one that has reminders about our Kimia "folio" or report as Pn Voon calls it.

I hope I'm not too late to make corrections. The last time I went online and visited this blog was just to test my internet connection that was finally fixed after two months of "kondem"nation. I only checked out the saybox. I didn't read the posts until today.

I just read the earlier mentioned post and........

Umm

I practically copied everything from my reference book into A4 paper. DON'T USE A4! Afterwards cannot staple them together ar.... (Trust me I know)

Use foolscap. I ran out of foolscap, and I forgot about teacher allowing foolscap. That's why I used A4.

The two experiments to include in the folio are:
  1. Pembuatan sabun (saponifikasi)
  2. Pengasingan pewarna makanan (kromatografi kertas)
I'm really sorry if this correction came in too late (for those of you who have finished).
But for those of you who haven't started, umm, you already know what to do.

Enjoy the remnants of the remnant of your "enjoy-time" before.... Something Perfectly Malicious (SPM).

Happy holidaying, Happy Gawai.
And Happy Early Birthday Richard.

REMINDERS TO ALL OF YOU 5A

Hey,as all of you know, mid year break starts since 27/5/06 until 11/6/06.Just to remind all of you so that don't spend too much time on entertainment or "lepak" during this holiday.Let's just flashback what our teachers said to us the week before holiday.

MADAM KANG :Yes??I forgot to tell you earlier this morning ah....you
have to study during your holidays ah....as this is your
last chance to recall all your lessons from form 4 and
form 5 ah...You will regret ah if you don't
do so ah...yesss???

Miss Mah :During holiday must study hoh but you also must
rest ha.Give yourself 1 day break and the rest
of the day must study ha.Work hard ha.If you
didn't get A1 for fizik ha,I will ketuk you ha
Ivan,Aziz and Fahri ha,don't let me see you in
Sarawak Plaza ha.

Mr James :During holiday must have holiday mood, right? So all
of you enjoy during your holiday.I don't think all
of you have the mood to study. But if can, better work
hard lah.

I think those were the only teacher who reminds us to work hard during the holidays.I don't mean that other teachers don't care about our studies. They just expect us to be independent and work hard as SPM will determine our own future.
All thanks to Madam Voon, most of our time during holiday are filled with her chapter 5 assignment and "fill in the blanks" for chapter 2.All together carries 10 marks for our 2nd exam.

REMINDERS

1)Chemistry assignment for chapter 5 and chapter 2(the one she gave us last minute). The exercises for chapter 4(termokimia)
2)Maths handout
3)Add maths.Finish all the vektor questions from the paper given
4)Fizik report (last experiment was the OSK experiment)

Oh ya...congratulations to 5A for being nominated for "kelas harapan" in kempen kebersihan kelas.

Happy Gawai!

To all our native brothers, Happy Gawai!

Bring 'round the puak, and drink down some tuak!
