A 'Wormy' Joke

Hey, here's a good joke I got from one of my webcomics. Hilarious! If you understand the 'wormy' references. If you don't, I'll explain them in the comments section.
DISCLAIMER: Humour seriously impaired if you read the explanation without getting the joke.

Okay, if you don't get it, here's the explanations:
Annie Lid = Annelid, phylum of animals, consisting of segmentend worms and especially your earthworms and leeches. Hence, the 'well-rounded', since earthworms are rounded.

Nina Tode = Nematode, parasitic worm, that's why you have the 'copies others' work'.

Patty Helminth = Platyhelminth. That's the scientific classification of flatworm. Hence, 'a bit flat'

Ringo Worm = Ringworm. Ringworms aren't worms. They're fungal infections. That's why the comic strip says, '..a fun guy.'. Fun guy = fungi. Get it? Also that's why he's depicted as a mushroom.

Yeah, now you understand the comic.
