Bittersweet

So we've all finally got our long-awaited school magazine. Unfortunately, due to last week's preview, reception was lukewarm, at best. Careful perusal of most of the pages revealed embarrassing typos. Most of us were far from pleased with the misspellings, especially the ones in the 'Clubs & Societies' section. In fact, some names were missing. Proofreading must be a foreign concept to the editors. In fact, we learnt that the Beatles song played during the 'Josephians in Concert' was actually 'Can't Buy Me Love Died'. Who'd have thought?

Typos aside, I'll refrain from reiterating myself on the other flaws, which several of our brothers have already touched upon during the weekend.

On the other hand, the fallout from the magazine fiasco is dying down, or so it seems. But by all appearances, life is returning to normal with the punctuated explosions accompanying our revision. However, Mr. James has mentioned that our ever-hardworking Ministry of Education has decided that we should do another MT project. Excellent timing, I don't think....mumble....mumble....

But let's not keep that from celebrating today, as it is, we have two birthday shoutouts pending:

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY ZACKY!!
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY PHILIP!!
