Heritage Lost

As you all know, Sarawak Club burned down yesterday. Whatever it has seen in 130 years is now ashes. I don't know how many of you are members; I'm not one, but I've been there quite a few times. It's hard to believe it's now gone. I wonder how long it'll take to rebuild the club.

Another thing, the current prefects are stepping down today. While for us normal students, it's not much of a big deal, for them, it means it's back to sharing the drudgery of life without the call of responsibility. Though, if you ask me, this is very much like the passing of seasons. Seasons change, and we're still here. Better yet, think of it as a change of rulers. Different king, same life. So no big deal.

Enjoy your weekend.
